Hapag-Llyod Vessel Naming Ceremony

The Hamburg-based company, Hapag-Llyod is one of the Top Five shipping companies in the world. I am honored to be the official photographer for their vessel naming ceremony which was held on 30th April 2008 at North Port and their Pre-Naming ceremony at Carcosa Sri Negara, KL. Kuala Lumpur Express is the biggest vessel ever named in Malaysia with the length of 336m.
The hitting of a bottle of champagne against the vessel is always the “know and heard of” knowledge. Now, being at the event, it’s a “seen with my own eyes” experience. It is a great opportunity of a life-time to be part of this event. Nevertheless, this event has been reported by major newspaper as well as news on television.
